Energy Standard Cup 2018

Today starts the Energy Standard Cup 2018

For the first time since the civil war in the former Yugoslavia two of the new independent States will join forces to take on the best junior Swimmers in Europe. Serbia & Slovenia will be combined, competing as one Team bringing the countries together in a new era with an exciting new young generation of athletes. We thank both the Federations of Serbia & Slovenia for their hard work to make this unique sporting Team possible.

Best European juniors have already arrived and are getting ready to compete.

From Energy Standard team:

Kliment Kolesnikov (2000):  World Record holder in the 100m Backstroke SCM, World Junior Record Holder at the 50m, 100m and 200m Backstroke, Multiple European Short Course Champion in Denmark 2017

Anastasia Skudrai (2003): European Junior Champion 2017, Champion at the European Youth Olympic Festival 2017 Gyor  Hungary, medalist at the European Short Course Championships in Denmark 2017, Belarusian Record holder in the 200m Backstroke, six-time Belarusian Junior Record holder

Andrei Minakov (2002): European Youth Olympic Champion 2017 in Gyor, Hungary, multiply winner at the Russian Junior Championships, Russian Junior Record holder at the 100m butterfly

Maxim Stupin (2000): Senior Russian Champion 2018, 400 IM

Denis Kesyl (2000): Finalist at World Junior Swimming Championships in Indianapolis, multiple Ukrainian Junior Record holder

Vladislav Gerasimenko (2001): Champion at the European Youth Olympic Festival 2017 in Hungary, multiple Winner at the Russian Junior Championships.

From Italy team:

Ceccon Thomas (2001): Italy Senior Champion 2018 in 100 back and 200 IM, qualified for European Championships in Glasgow.

Burdisso Federico (2001): Italy Senior Champion 2018 in 200 fly, qualified for the European Championships in Glasgow.

From Hungary team:

Kalmar Ákos (2000): European Champion 2017 in 400m freestyle, qualified for European Junior Championship in Helsinki

Zombori  Gabor (2002): Champion at the European Youth Olympic Festival 2017 in 200m backstroke, qualified for European Junior Championship in Helsinki

Szabo-Feltothy Eszter (2002): Medalist at the European Youth Olympic Festival 2017 in 200m backstroke, qualified for European Junior Championship in Helsinki

From Balcan Tide team:

The female athletes: Fain Katja (2001) and Račnik Sara (2002)  already qualified on 400м & 800м freestyle for the European Championships in Glasgow and European Junior Championship in Helsinki.

The male  athletes: Primožič Marcel (2000), Kordež Gal (2000), Može Matija (2000) qualified for for European Junior Championship in Helsinki.
